Friday Updates: Raj, Balodhi, Bagai, Yadav, Sachdev, Shekhar, Garg And Sharma Emerged As Champions

Friday was a big hit in the digital poker world. With Spartan Poker’s IOPC, PokerBaazi’s IMPS and Adda52’s APF all on their peak, accompanied by few high rewarding tourneys, here’s a quick recap of all the poker action that unfolded last night.

Spartan Poker

With the 3 crores GTD IOPC Main Event: The Crown on its peak, last night registered 446 entries taking the total to 2216 entries so far. After the end of Day 1E only 60 contenders made it to the next day. Shashank Shekhar emerged with the biggest chip stack castle comprising 261734 chips. Following him were ‘Paperboi’ and ‘Ronaldinho18’ with 249725 chips and 220178 chips listed to their credits.

Another tourney on the schedule last night was the 60 lakhs GTD The Elite which roped in 648 entries. Gokul Raj flipped the tourney in his favour by defeating Ashutosh Balodhi(took home Rs.9.73 lakhs) in a heads-up chop and claimed the title along with Rs.10.64 lakhs.

Another tourney on the list was the 18 lakhs GTD TGIF which registered 1434 entries taking the guaranteed prize pool all the way up to Rs.21.51 lakhs. Devang Yadav ran past his competition to claim the title and Rs.3.73 lakhs. ‘TEXASDOLLI’ came in close second and took home Rs. 2.72 lakhs.


PokerBaazi fell prey to overlay last night with its ₹10 Lakhs GTD The Ridge. Despite pulling in 275 entries with ₹3,300 buy-ins, the site still had to compensate for Rs.1.75 lakhs in an overlay. Deepak Sachdev(took home Rs.2.21 lakhs) championed the event defeating Shashank Shekar(came second and took home Rs.1.55 lakhs) in an intense heads-up battle.


With APF getting close to its final countdown, the 1 crore GTD APF Full House had its another flight on the schedule last night. Day 1B registered 283 entries each investing Rs.5500 buy-ins but only 30 finalists made their way to the next day. Akshay Nasa(296505 chips), Aditya Agrawal(290632 chips), and ‘null_void’(290210) emerged with the biggest stacks.

Another tourney that roped in 198 entries was the 5 lakhs GTD APF Table for 6. Ayush Garg championed the event leaving behind his competitors to win Rs.1.39 lakhs.

PokerStars India

Keeping up with its overlay tradition, last night too the ₹10 Lakhs GTD Uppercut 6-Max MAGIC Edition fell short of Rs.1.80 lakhs in the guarantee. Leaving behind 205 entries, ‘Tems30’ banked Rs.1.80 lakhs along with the title to his credit. Rajat Sharma came in close second and took home Rs.1.35 lakhs.
