Monday Majors: Kunal Patni, Muskan Sethi, Anuj Kodam, Saurabh Rohila shine in Monday tourneys

Here’s a quick recap of all the action that took place on Monday-

Adda52

₹10 Lac GTD Inception was the flagship tourney on Adda52 running last night. The ₹3,500 entry buy-in event clocked 308 registrations including 167 entries and fell short of ₹14,400of the advertised prize pool guarantee.

‘007.devashish’ shipped the tourney for ₹1.86 Lac following a three-way deal with ‘abhiraja’ (2nd for ₹1.70 Lac and Abhijeet ‘FirefistAce’ Ravi (3rd for ₹1.54 Lac.

The ₹2 Lakhs GTD Quad KO -4 Max was shipped by ‘rtuteja’ for ₹56,000.

PokerBaazi

2nd edition of IMPS kicked off on Monday on Baazi. ₹10 Lac GTD The Bout attracted the most entries and managed to surpass the advertised prize pool. Akshay ‘CallmeAK’ Kapoor decimated the field of 432 entries to grab the top spot and banked ₹2.17 Lac as the first-place cash prize.

Young Gun Anujkumar ‘aatman’ Kodam took home ₹1.52 Lac after runner up finish. Kodam also final tabled the Adda52’s Inception- Fourth for ₹83,500. He banked a total of ₹2.35 Lac in prize money last night.

‘C_U_LATER’ shipped the ₹2 Lac GTD Monday MegaStack for ₹56,300. ‘toughonluck’ finished at second place for ₹39,400.

PokerStars

Monday brought in Day 2 of ₹1 Crore GTD INCOOP Main Event that clocked 277 registrations and experienced an overlay of ₹11.60 Lac. The tourney has managed 884 entries (439 unique and 445 re-entries) so far.

PokerStars India Team Pro Muskan ‘MuskanSethi’ Sethi was the first player to bust in the money and picked up a min-cash worth ₹23,678.

₹5 Lac GTD INCOOP – 202 Uppercut Mini experienced a sizeable overlay of ₹55,000 after 178 registrations. ‘ashtrification’ came on top of the field and banked and ₹1.17 Lac (₹53,290 in prize money and ₹64,571 in bounties). Dinesh ‘P$_FISH’ Singh finished runner up for ₹54,409 (₹39,370 in prize money and ₹15,039 in bounties).

SpartanPoker

₹10 Lac GTD ReCharge was the marquee event on Spartan Poker last night. The event experienced a shortfall of three buy-ins and clocked 497 registrations. Kunal ‘TiltAtma’ Patni and ‘SpewMonkey’ were the only survivors left after almost seven hours of play. Both agreed on a heads up deal which saw ‘SpewMonkey’ grab the title position for ₹1.79 Lac. Patni took home ₹1.53 Lac for his runner up finish.

Saurabh ‘darksider’ Rohila finished 4th for ₹78,700. He also final tabled two more tourneys on Monday night–

  • Fourth in the Flash for ₹45,060
  • Fifth place in PokerBaazi’s The Bout for ₹54,324

The ₹6 Lac Flash suffered an overlay of ₹43,000 after 557 entries. ‘LEd- ZeppELiN’ decimated the field and banked ₹95,803 following a heads-up deal with ‘Smooth Criminal’ (2nd for ₹87,735).
