Monday Marquee Events: Sethuram Kannan, Pawan Tez, Vivek Singh & Harrish Chaudhary shine as champions

After an electrifying Sunday night, it was time for some slow action on virtual felts. Mondays are usually the most uneventful in action as compared to the rest of the days. Most of the tourneys suffered an overlay last night.

Here’s a quick recap of all the action that took place on Monday –

Adda52

The ₹10 Lac GTD Inception was the marquee event on Adda52 last night. The event managed to pass the advertised prize pool with 323 registrations and created ₹10.33 Lac in the prize pool. Pawan ‘_luffy_1x1’ Tez came on top of the field and won the top prize worth ₹2.58 Lac after beating PokerGuru Ambassador Shashank ‘IndianRat’ Desai who finished runner-up for ₹1.56 Lac in the heads-up battle.

Afternoon Adda ₹2 Lakhs GTD was won by ‘maheshg1811’ for ₹56,070 while ‘bigdaddy1’ shipped Quad KO 4-Max ₹2 Lakhs GTD for ₹54,000.

PokerBaazi

The ₹10 Lac GTD The Bout registered 402 entries creating a prize pool of ₹10.05 Lac. Harrish ‘Realfc’ Chaudary decimated the field and took home ₹2.11 Lac while ‘MissVizag’ finished second for ₹1.48 Lac.

The ₹2 Lac GTD Monday MegaStack fell short of ₹74,000 of the advertised guaranteed prize pool after 84 registrations. ‘Sahib2207’ won the title for ₹60,000.

PokerStars

The ₹15 Lac GTD INCOOP-48 Battle Royale experienced an overlay of ₹3.5 Lac after 230 entries. Amit ‘the_ziro’ J shipped the title for ₹2.48 Lac after a three-way deal with ‘max2172’ (2nd for ₹1.92 Lac) and ‘theoldestkid’ (3rd for ₹1.02 Lac).

The ₹5 Lac GTDINCOOP-50 Uppercut Mini witnessed 199 registrations. Abhijeet ‘sexylady7766’ Kumar came on top of the field for ₹80,027 after a three-way deal with Amit ‘Stu Ungar 7694’ Kaushik (2nd for ₹64,269) and Akshay ‘VaahBhaiVaah’ Gupta (3rd for ₹43,304).

SpartanPoker

It was time for the first flight of the ₹50 Lac GTD Battlefield. The ₹2,750 buy-in event witnessed 390 registrations out of which only 46 made it through to Day 2. ‘Sunita W 2’ (468,494) ended up as the chip leader on Day 1A followed by Vivek ‘acchemicals’ Karwa (363,666) and ‘nutskibhookh’ (354,519) on next two spots.

The ₹14 Lac GTD Grand ReCharge fell short of ₹1.56 Lac of the advertised prize pool after 622 registrations. Mystery user ‘NUTPEDDLER’ shipped the title for ₹2.69 Lakhs after defeating PokerGuru Ambassador Vivek ‘KasolHieghts’ Singh in the heads up. Singh banked ₹1.70 Lac for his runner-up finish.

Sethuram ‘Setherson8’ Kannan championed the ₹6.50 Lac GTD Flash and banked ₹1.25 Lac. The tourney had to fill in a deficit of ₹19,000 after 631 entries.
