With Spartan Poker’s IOPC, Adda52’s APF, and PokerBaazi’s IMPS reaching their fruitful ends, it was a slow Monday in the poker industry. Adda52 was struggling to fix the technical difficulties which resulted in all Monday marquees at Adda52 being cancelled. Siddharth Pandey shined like a star by taking not one but two titles down to his credit.
Here is the full scoop on what went down in poker world last and how:
Spartan Poker
With IOPC now just a chapter from the past, Spartan Poker is back on track with its regular scheduled tourneys. The first one on the list was 12 lakhs GTD Recharge which roped in 599 entries; the tourney suffered from overlay by just one less entry to meet its advertised guarantee limit. ‘Sid297’ ran past its competition to claim the title and Rs.2.32 lakhs to his credit. Following him, ‘Mervinn’ settled for the second spot and took along Rs.1.47 lakhs.
The next marquee on the list was the 6 lakhs GTD The Flash which pulled in 622 entries and yet fell prey to the overlay of Rs.22000. ‘Armitrage’ flipped the tourney in his favour taking home Rs.1.20 lakhs and leaving behind ‘princepokker’ who took along Rs.75884.
PokerBaazi
10 Lakhs GTD The Bout was on the list at PokerBaazi last night which pulled in 420 participants, surpassing its advertised guarantee by Rs.58000. Siddharth Pandey took the winning jump and added the title and Rs.2.13 lakhs to his credit. Dinesh Kukreja came in a close second and took home Rs. 1.49 lakhs.
PokerStars India
PokerStars India continued sailing in the overlays boat with its 7 lakhs GTD Battle Royale falling short of Rs.60000 after roping in 256 entries. Siddharth Pandey took down his second title for the night and banked Rs.1.39 lakhs after striking a three-way deal with ‘Monikgowda123’(came second and took along Rs.72761) and ‘mr.bhatia’(came third for Rs.68489).
Adda52
Ada52 falls prey to a lot of technical difficulties lately, and the same was the scenario last night where the information about the same was shared by them on their Facebook page resulting in the cancellation of all the tourneys on the schedule.
