Monster Poker Club and 9Stacks collaborate for a charity event to help out COVID affected families

By Dheeraj Singh

The COVID -19 global pandemic is still on the rise, especially in India, and people are being forced to stay home as much as possible. There has been a massive surge in COVID affected patients in July, and people are looking for various ways to help out the needy. We saw a couple of poker platforms organising fundraising events like ‘All-In Poker For A Cause’ was hosted by Poker High earlier in June, and recently Monster Poker Group and 9Stacks joined hands to collect a good amount and contribute it for a better cause.

Last weekend, Monster Poker Club, in association with 9Stacks, organised a charity poker event to provide necessities to COVID affected families. A total of 40 players came together for this beautiful cause. It was a no rake tournament so that the maximum help could reach out to the needful. Karan Sawhney turned out to be the winner of the event and decided to which charity the amount raised should go. Eventually, 62 COVID affected families were provided with food essentials and other necessities.

It’s a beautiful gesture from MPC and 9Stacks as it is essential to look out for one another in these uncertain times, and this is an excellent way of giving back to society.

Stay tuned for more updates from the poker world.

I believe Life and Poker work on the same principle. The more you learn the better you become.
