Sunday Showdown: An action packed Sunday witnessed three high-value series coming to end

The action that unfolded Sunday night was too good to be missed as three high-value series came to an end. Sunday witnessed Adda52’s AOPS, PokerBazzi’s PPL and Spartan Poker’s Ultimate Value Series (UVS) Millionaire Lite come to an end. Along with it, the ongoing 2020 WSOP Online series was also the talk of the town as India’s “Mandovi” trounced a 2,207-player field to become the fifth Indian player to win the bracelet.

Here is the full scoop:

Adda52

Adda52 Online Poker Series (AOPS) concluded last night with the biggest guarantee on offer  i.e. Adda52’s ₹2.5 Crores GTD AOPS Main Event Finale. Online reg Vishal ‘amarkhatri999’ Tulsyan turned out to be the biggest winner on the domestic felts on Sunday as he scooped a life-changing ₹43.80 Lac in prize money. This also happens to be Vishal’s personal-best score to date.

Srihari ‘zombieballs’ Bang finished runner up for ₹27.50 Lac while PokerGuru Ambassador Rony ‘fish4life’ Chowdhury finished third for ₹20 Lac.

The ₹40 Lakhs GTD AOPS Mega Suits was another marquee event on the site. With 804 entries, the event managed to raise a ₹40.20 Lac prize pool. Vikas ‘Vikas267’ Yadav claimed the lion’s share took home ₹10.05 Lac up-top cash prize. Veteran pro Sriharsha ‘ivey2’ Doddapaneni finished at second place for ₹5.40 Lac.

PokerBaazi

The ₹1 Crore GTD PPL#59 The MoneyMaker was the last event of The PokerBaazi Premier League. Jai ‘jksisme’ Saha, who finished runner-up in last Thursday’s ₹60 Lakhs GTD PPL#44 High Roller, won The MoneyMaker and took home mouth-watering ₹20.84 Lac. He had finished runner-up in the last ₹1 Crore GTD PPL The MoneyMaker that took place in March.

Vikranth ‘borntrouble’ Varma finished second and took home ₹14.61 Lac. Varma also final tabled Adda52’s AOPS Main Event Finale and Spartan Poker’s UVS#34 The Millionaire Lite. He finished sixth in AOPS taking home ₹7.40 Lac and fourth in The Millionaire Lite taking home ₹1.89 Lakhs.

The PPL#60 BSS SuperStack ₹30 Lac GTD was another highlight on Sunday. However, the tourney experienced an overlay of ₹1.15 Lac. Anjali ‘Smoothie12’ Kochhar turned out to be the winner taking home ₹5.67 Lac while Harsh ‘100crdream’ Dembla finished second for ₹3.97 Lac.

PokerStars

PokerStars India suffered another colossal overlay of ₹6.89 Lac in the ₹40 Lac GTD HERCULES that saw 473 entries. Rishab ‘NoChan(3’ Malik won the tourney and took home ₹6.16 Lac following a three-way deal with Akshay ‘powershell42’ Asawa who finished second for ₹4.79 Lac and ‘thisisme16’ who ended third for ₹5.21 Lac.

The ₹18 Lac GTD Sunday Special Progressive KO also fell short of ₹2.15 Lac after registering 317 entrees. Seasoned pro Shravan ‘lukBo$$13’ Chhabria turned out to be the winner taking home ₹3.63 Lac after a heads-up deal with Rajat ‘sharabikebabi’ Sharma who finished second for ₹2.41 Lac.

Spartan Poker

Spartan Poker’s UVS concluded with The ₹35 Lac GTD UVS#34 The Millionaire Lite on Sunday.  Manash ‘Ravenclaws’ Kalita became the Millionaire Lite champion taking home ₹10 Lac beating the former Millionaire champion Avadh ‘cateyes’ Shah in the heads up deal. Shah finished runner-up for ₹5.11 Lac.

The ₹15 Lac GTD Money Heist was another marquee event on Sunday that saw 403 entries but fell short of ₹2.91 Lac. Anonymous user ‘steamin’ won the event for ₹3.01 Lac, while ‘pokershokerr’ finished runner-up for ₹2 Lac.
