Sunday Showdown: Apratim Chatterjee & ‘capricorn_3’ ship Spartan Poker’s GPS and Adda52’s Full House

Adda52’s Full House Finale and Spartan Poker’s Grand Poker Series (GPS) culminated on Sunday night offering seven-figure scores in winning. Here’s a quick recap of all the action that took place last night –

Adda52

The ₹1 Crore, GTD Full House Finale, was one of the two mega tourneys that culminated on Sunday. The tourney started last week, and Day 1F and Day 2 got rescheduled due to technical issues. The event managed to create a prize pool of ₹88.95 Lac after clocking 1,779 entries and suffered an overlay ₹11.05 Lac.

Anonymous crusher ‘capricorn_3’ championed the tourney and shipped the lion’s share worth ₹22 Lac for the first-place finish. Pro Pranay ‘setmeup’ Chawla ended up at the second place and took home ₹12.20 Lac in prize money.

The ₹25 Lac GTD Adda52 Millions fell short of ₹1.30 Lac after 237 registrations. Mystery player ‘roysubho85’ banked ₹6.86 Lac for his first-place finish while Sumit ‘hammer_head’ Sapra finished runner up for ₹4 Lac.

Adda52’s ₹15 Lac GTD Big Slick suffered an overlay of ₹1.63 Lac after registering 594 entries. Kamal ‘ksn123’ Naruka won the title and banked ₹2.38 Lac after a heads-up deal with ‘maheshg1811’ who finished runner up for ₹2.36 Lac.

The ₹5 Lac GTD Hurricane was championed by ‘Pranay10’ for ₹96,869 after a three-way deal with ‘gongo’ (2nd for ₹88,940) and Somesh ‘JackNotMa’ Patel (3rd for ₹83,465).

PokerBaazi

The ₹25 Lac GTD BSS SuperStack was the marquee event on Baazi last night. The event witnessed an overlay of ₹3.5 Lac after 430 registrations. Jayant ‘hiker53’ Darokar came on top of the field and shipped ₹5.30 Lac for first place finish. ‘Jatin.ahuja’ finished runner up for ₹3.52 Lac.

The ₹8 Lac GTD BSS MegaStack fell short of ₹75,000 of the advertised guaranteed prize pool after clocking 290 entries. Mukesh ‘silentkid’ Ahuja won the title for ₹1.76 Lac after defeating ‘nammy09’ (2nd for ₹1.24 Lac) in the heads-up battle.

Puneet ‘neo1’ Dua final tabled two events last night –

  • Eighth in the BSS SuperStack for ₹67,000
  • Seventh in the BSS MegaStack for ₹29,440

PokerStars

The ₹50 Lac GTD INCOOP-103 Hercules experienced a massive overlay of ₹15.42 Lac after 494 registrations. Vikram ‘GreenSTUFF79’ Mishra decimated the field and won ₹7.67 Lac after a four-way deal with Sahil ‘you3bi4b’ Nair (2nd for ₹5.21 Lac), Raghav ‘maddyrag’ Madan (3rd for ₹5.70 Lac), and ‘PAAKTS’ (4th for ₹5.11 Lac).

The ₹25 Lac GTD INCOOP-114 Sunday Highroller fell short of ₹5.5 Lac of the advertised guaranteed prize pool after 156 entries. PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh ‘B00MTilt23’ Pal Singh won the title and banked ₹5.05 Lac.

Another ₹25 Lac GTD INCOOP-111 Sunday Special suffered a more oversized overlay of ₹6.10 Lac after 378 registrations. Sandy ‘Ziigmunddd’ Lamba shipped the tourney for ₹4.71 Lac (₹2.84 Lac in prize money and ₹1.87 Lac in bounties), while Akshat ‘takingcuntrol’ Sharma finished runner up for ₹2.45 Lac (₹2.08 Lac in prize money and ₹36,582 in bounties).

Spartan Poker

The second edition of the GPS series culminated last night with the ₹2 Crores GTD GPS Main Event which was one of the biggest event of Sunday on the virtual felts. The tourney experienced an overlay of ₹5 Lac after registering 1,950 entries.

Apratim ‘checm@te’ Chatterjee became the first-ever GPS Main Event champion and banked a life-changing ₹34.24 Lac. He defeated PokerGuru Ambassador Kartik ‘TheInternetKid’ Ved in the heads-up battle. Kartik banked ₹19.08 Lac for the runner up finish.

Well-known reg Manish ‘potlords’ Gandhi championed the ₹40 Lac GTD GPS – Grand Sunday Superstack for ₹6.51 Lac after a heads-up play with ‘ephemeral’ who finished runner up for ₹6.38 Lac.

The ₹13 Lac GTD GPS#55 Money Heist suffered an overlay of ₹1 Lac. Kanav ‘SneakyBlinders’ Parwal shipped the tourney for ₹2.23 Lac after a three-way deal with ‘whodahellru1’ (2nd for ₹1.70 Lac) and ‘Daakudaddy’ (3rd for ₹1.66 Lac).
