Thursday Tournament Updates: MTT pro Akshay ‘vibaks’ Nasa was the formidable force last night

After days of slow action and overlays, Thursday turned out to be a mega day for both – the platforms as well as the players. Akshay ‘vibaks’ Nasa was the formidable force on Thursday night as the MTT pro was on a roll last night. Nasa ended up on final table in four flagship events. His last night scores are:

  • 5th in the PPL#44 High Roller 6-Max (60 LAC GTD) for ₹3,55,475
  • 2nd in the AOPS PLO High Roller for ₹3,00,000
  • 4th in the AOPS Godfather for ₹2,50,250
  • 5th in the High Roller for ₹1,12,697

Spartan Poker

Day 1C of the multi-flight ₹10 Lac GTD UVS Velocity registered 389 sign-ups. Out of 389 only 34 players survived the day`s play with an anonymous player, ‘Az01’ (182,884) having the top stack.

The ₹4,400 buy-in Ultron was another marquee event on Spartan last night. A total of 565 entries were registered creating ₹22.60 Lac guaranteed prize pool. An anonymous player ‘Wenger’ won the top prize and took home ₹3.66 Lac after beating ‘jungleman27’ in the heads-up deal.  ‘jungleman27’ finished runner-up and took home ₹3.49 Lac.

The ₹7.5 Lac GTD Monster Stack was won by PokerGuru Ambassador Mithun ‘intuitionnn’ Mahesh for ₹1.52 Lac. An anonymous player ‘LuckyLuciano’ finished runner-up for ₹99,975.

PokerBaazi

The PokerBaazi Premier League (PPL) is cruising towards a grand finale this weekend. The ₹60 Lac GTD PPL#44 High Roller with the ₹27,500 buy-in was the highlight on the Thursday. The event registered 241 participants. Mystery player ‘karanmangla’ won the title and took home ₹14.18 Lakhs. He also finished runner up in Wednesday’s PPL#35 PLO HighRoller. Young gun Jai ‘jksisme’ Saha finished runner-up for ₹9.95 Lac.

The ₹5 Lac GTD PPL#39 DST was won by Nishant ‘stockfull’ Pandey who took home ₹1.05 Lac after beating ‘Iveytown’ who finished at second spot and took home ₹73,500.

Adda52

The ₹35 Lac GTD AOPS Godfather was the flagship tourney on Adda52 on Thursday night. The ₹5,500 buy-in tourney collected ₹35.75 Lac in prize pool with the help of 715 entries. The tourney came to an end after a three way deal between Akshat ‘akshat03’ Sharma, Abhishek ‘thegrinder’ Garg and Chandan ‘darkfish15’ Arora. Arora won ₹6.29 Lac for the first place finish while Akshat Sharma took home ₹5.01 Lac for runner up finish. Abhishek Garg finished third and scooped ₹4.87 Lac.

PokerStars

Unlike other platforms, PokerStars India suffered a massive overlay of ₹5.10 Lac in the ₹18 Lac GTD Highroller event. The ₹8,250 buy-in tourney managed only 172 entries. Rumit ‘GatisKandis’ Khade won the top prize of ₹3.63 Lac after busting ‘vinaash’ in the heads up battle. ‘vinaash’ finished runner-up for ₹2.71 Lac.
