Thursday Tourneys Update: Sodha, Jaiswal, Darade, Bajaj, Saigal, Vaswani, Chawla, & Kakkar Rule The Poker Field

After days of slow action, Thursday night picked up action at the perfect pace. With other poker giants competing to garner as much traffic as possible with the latest tourneys offering high rewards, Adda52 was still struggling with technical disruptions.

Here is everything you need to know about the poker action in the Indian circuit:

Spartan Poker

Keeping up with its trend, Spartan Poker had the highest guarantee rewarding flagship on the schedule, the 22 Lakhs GTD Ultron which roped in 664 entries accruing the guaranteed prize pool of Rs.26.56 lakhs. Chirag Sodha took down the title by striking a three-way deal with ‘Buddy25’(came second and took home Rs.3.65 lakhs) and ‘veselka’(came 3rd and took home Rs.3.09 lakhs) and added Rs.3.95 lakhs to his current bankroll. Apart from this, the top 63 players received min-cash.

Another marquee on the list was the 7.5 lakhs GTD Monster Stack. Defeating ‘89aj’ in an intense heads-up, ‘palash777’ championed the event where the former took home Rs.1.58 and the latter added Rs.1.73 lakhs in his bankroll.

PokerBaazi

With its 20 lakhs GTD The Summit flagship, 331 participants helped in garnering the guarantee of Rs.24.83 lakhs. Mandar Darade defeated Abhishek Jaiswal(came in a close second and took home Rs.3.84 lakhs) in a heads-up chop to claim the title and Rs.5.48 lakhs.

The next tourney on the list was the 5 Lakhs GTD Thursday MonsterStack. Jasven Saigal emerged as the champion leaving behind Kunal Vaswani where the winner took home Rs.1.52 lakhs, and the runner-up was rewarded with Rs.1.06 lakhs.

PokerStars India

The tradition of overlays continued last night with 18 lakhs GTD Highroller. Despite roping in 23 poker enthusiasts, the tourney suffered an overlay of Rs.45000. ‘rpawar2092’ championed the event taking down Vinayak Bajaj(took home Rs.2.56 lakhs) in an intense heads-up battle and added Rs.3.47 lakhs to his bankroll.

With 5 lakhs GTD Battle Royale Mini, 226 people hopped on board finally breaking the overlay chain to accrue the final guarantee of Rs.5.65 lakhs. Paranay Chawla and Ram Kakkar entered an equal cash distribution agreement. They played only for the title where Chawla successfully bagged the title in his credit, and both of them walked away with Rs.47352 cash prize.

Adda52

Adda52 continued sailing in the boat of technical difficulties last night as well leading to the cancellation of all the tourneys on the schedule.
