Wednesday Tourney Updates: Sumit Sapra, Vikranth Varma & Chirag Sodha shine as champions

Here’s a quick recap of all the action that took place on Wednesday-

Adda52

₹15 Lac GTD Maverick was the signature event on Adda52 last night. The ₹2,500 entry buy-in tourney suffered an overlay of ₹44,250 after 647 registrations. Sumit ‘hammer_head’ Sapra came on top of the field and banked ₹3.75 Lac for the first-place finish. Akshay ‘nofuchsgiven’ Dhingra finished runner up for ₹2.18 Lac.

₹4 Lac GTD Moonlight managed to avoid overlay woes and created ₹4.25 Lac in prize pool after 238 registrations. ‘gogikaran’ won the tourney for ₹85,311 following a heads-up deal with MTT crusher Srihari ‘zombieballs’ Bang who finished runner up for ₹80,965).

PokerBaazi

The marquee event on Baazi last night was the ₹10 Lac GTD The Pride. The tourney experienced an overlay of ₹91,000 after 303 registrations. PokerGuru Ambassador Devvrat ‘flopCheck’ Arya shipped the tourney for ₹2.21 Lac after beating Vikranth ‘borntrouble’ Varma (2nd for ₹1.55 Lac) in heads-up play.

Vinay ‘Vinstill’ Bk championed the ₹3 Lac GTD Wednesday SuperStack for ₹77,250. Karan ‘Apocalypto’ Radia took home ₹54,090 for the runner up finish.

PokerStars

PokerStars India hosted two ₹5 Lac GTD flagships on Wednesday also. The Big Bubble Rush created a prize pool of ₹5.32 Lac after registering 213 entries. Site regular ‘sheldon11cooper’ finished at the top of the field and banked ₹1.24 Lac. Amar B ‘PsykoEko’ Iyer banked ₹54,336 for his second-place finish.

Night On Stars also managed to surpass the advertised guaranteed prize pool of ₹5 Lac and created ₹5.04 Lac in the prize pool on the back of 317 registrations. Anonymous crusher ‘TheAnnihilator’ shipped the tourney and banked ₹94,737 after beating Hitesh ‘hiteshbhai999’ Batra who finished runner-up for ₹69,442 in the heads-up play.

Spartan Poker

₹25 Lac GTD Destiny on Spartan was the biggest tourney of Wednesday. The tourney created a whopping prize pool of ₹28.85 Lac after clocking 577 entries. Chirag ‘chilling’ Sodha championed the tourney and became the eighth player to book a Destiny 16.0 SnG finale seat. Sodha scooped a whopping ₹6.10 Lac in the prize money. ‘AdrenALLNeRush’ finished runner-up for ₹6.01 Lac following a heads-up deal.

‘IbuHateLa’ shipped the ₹2.75 Lac GTD Mega Freeze for ₹71,432 after a three-way deal with ‘Igot2flush’ (2nd for ₹52,240) and ‘Stalin_spartan’ (3rd for ₹48,633).
