Wednesday Updates: Arsh Grover, Naresh Veeravalli, Mithun Mahesh & Utsav Taneja bank the lion’s share

Here’s a quick recap of all the action that took place on Wednesday on virtual felts-

Adda52

₹15 Lac GTD Maverick was the marquee tournament on Adda52 on Wednesday. The tourney witnessed a sizeable overlay of ₹2.15 Lac after registering 565 entries. Anonymous crusher ‘thepokerfaceblr’ decimated the field and banked ₹3.83 Lac for the first-place finish. ‘anand1895’ finished runner-up for ₹2.18 Lac.

₹4 Lac GTD La Luna experienced ₹4,760 overlays after clocking 241 entries. ‘CHERRYPAJI’ shipped the event for ₹1.1 Lac. Anurag ‘NormanBates’ Srivastava finished second in the event and took home ₹64,000 in prize money.

PokerBaazi

₹10 Lac GTD, The Pride, was the marquee tourney on Baazi last night. The tourney experienced ₹1.70 Lac in an overlay on the back of 237 registrations. Utsav’ ranny006’ Taneja championed the tourney and banked ₹2.35 Lac. PokerGuru Ambassador Mithun ‘thepokeraja’ Mahesh finished runner-up for ₹1.65 Lac.

Chirag ‘BadSirck’ Khandelwal won ₹1 Lac GTD Hold’em Boost DST for ₹28,150 after outlasting a field of 99 entries.

PokerStars India

PokerStars India’s ₹5 Lac GTD Big Bubble Rush experienced an overlay of ₹37,500 after 185 registrations. Utsav ‘rannyOO6’ Taneja shipped the tourney for ₹98,112 (including bounties) after a heads-up deal with PokerGuru Ambassador Devvrat ‘bhasm@sur1’ Arya (2nd for ₹69,069). This was Taneja’s second flagship title win of the day and took home ₹3.33 Lac in total earnings for the day.

Another ₹5 Lac GTD Night on Stars, witnessed ₹41,500 in shortfall after 262 registrations. Young Gun Anmol ‘Kaanchacheena’ Mehta shipped the tourney and banked ₹89,010 after a heads-up deal with ‘Burglar90’ (2nd for ₹77,074).

Spartan Poker

₹25 Lac GTD Destiny was the highlight of Wednesday. Spartan Poker’s Wednesday flagship tourney fell ₹75,000 short of the advertised prize pool after managing 485 entries. Young Gun Arsh ‘BigggTymeR’ Grover came on top of the field and scooped the lion’s share worth ₹6.63 Lac along with a seat in the Destiny 17.0 SnG Finale. PokerGuru Ambassador Nadeem ‘blindgame’ Basha finished second and banked ₹4.13 Lac for the runner up place.

₹4.25 Lac GTD UVS #18, managed a breakeven ₹5.18 Lac prize pool on the back of 575 entries. PokerGuru Ambassador Naresh ‘FreeFlow’ Veeravalli decimated the field and banked ₹1.01 Lac for the first-place finish. Mayank ‘desithug007’ Gupta finished second for ₹64,067.
