Poker Rules: How to play 2-7 Triple Draw Poker Game

Deuce to Seven Triple Draw or 2-7 Triple Draw is a draw variant of the Poker. In this variant, players have the option to discard cards from their hand and replace them with cards from the deck. Also, this form of poker uses low ball hand ranking i.e. unlike Hold’em and Omaha Poker you will have to make the best possible lowest and to be the winner.

How to Play 2-7 Triple Draw:

In 2-7 Triple Draw, each player is dealt 5 cards and has to make the lowest possible 5 card hand win. The worst hand wins in this poker variant.

How many players can play: It is a 6-player maximum game

Button: The dealer

Blinds: The forced bets that begin the wagering

Small blind: The immediate left player of the button posts the small blind

Big Blind: The immediate left player of the small blind posts the big blind

Call: Match the amount of big blind

Raise: Increase the bet

Fold: Throw the hand away

The showdown: After the final betting round, the players expose their holdings to determine a winner

2-7 Triple Draw Rules:

• 2-7 Triple Draw also uses a dealer button and blinds
• The player directly to the left of the dealer button bets small blind
• The player to the left of the small blind bets big blind.
• Each player is dealt 5 cards and there is a round of betting.
• The first round of betting begins with the player to the left of the big blind
• Each player has three options to call, raise or fold.
• After the betting rounds, each player can draw up to five new cards.
• There are four betting rounds with three draws in this game.
• After the final betting round, there’s a showdown.
• Straights and flushes count against you as you have to make the lowest possible hand in this variant

Worst hand: Royal Flush is the worst hand in this game
