Razz Poker or the Seven Card Razz is a stud variant of the Poker that involves lowball hand rankings. The gameplay is pretty similar to 7-Card Stud poker but the hand rankings are completely inverse.
Razz Poker is similar to 7-card Stud Poker with the only difference in hand making. Instead of making a high hand in 7-card Stud Poker, you have to make the lowest possible hand. Also, the ace is always counted as the lowest ranking card in this variant. Flushes and straights don’t count in Razz poker.
How many players can play: 2-8 players
Antes: These are the forced bets by each player before receiving any cards.
Bring in: Bring in is usually sized about 1/3 of the small bet at the table. The player with the lowest door card ranking is forced to bring in.
Complete: The player with the lowest door card also has the option to bet equal to one small bet.
Hole Cards: The first two cards dealt face down
Door Card: The first face-up card is called the door card. It is also referred to as the third street.
4th Street: The fourth card dealt face up
5th Street: The fifth card dealt face up
6th Street: The sixth card dealt face up
River: The final card dealt face up
The showdown: After the final betting round, the players expose their holdings to determine a winner
