Friday Flagship: Siddhanth Kriplani, Arsh Grover, Siddharth Karia & Gaurav Sood topped the fields

With the weekend approaching, the action on virtual felts is intensifying. Spartan Poker’s GPS Millionaire and Adda52’s Full House added on to the momentum that picked up on Thursday with the beginning of two much-awaited tourneys – Spartan Poker’s GPS and PokerStars’ INCOOP. Looking at the great response on Friday night, the remaining two days are expected to be a busy affair on virtual felts.

Here’s a recap of all the action that unfolded last night

Adda52

It was Day 1B for The ₹1 Crore GTD Full House on Adda52. After 192 registrations on Day 1A, Day 1B attracted 226 registrations. Only 24 players managed to bag stacks for Day 2. Ayush ‘lazyman’ Garg (305,485), Rajesh ‘phanthom’ Singh (288,518), and Manoj ‘thatsmymoney’ Pentakota (279,468) finished at the top three positions.

The ₹25 Lac GTD The Ballers was another marquee event on Adda52. The tourney managed a break-even point after 364 entries. Aniket ‘anteman’ Waghmare defeated Siddhanth ‘Sidstack’ Kripalani in the heads up battle to win ₹5.08 Lac. Kripalani finished runner-up for ₹4.94 Lac.

Siddhanth Kriplani had three heads-up encounters last night but unfortunately, last all three.

  • Runner up finish in GPS Grand – The Elite for ₹5.69 Lac.
  • Runner-up finish in the TGIF for ₹1.58 Lac.
  • Runner-up finish in Adda52’s The Ballers for ₹4.94 Lac.

PokerBaazi

The ₹10 Lac GTD The Ridge fell short of ₹28,000 after 291 registrations. Young Gun Arsh ‘Button_Hai_Bro’ Grover shipped the title and banked ₹2.21 Lac. Puneet ‘neo1’ Dua finished second in the heads up battle and took home ₹1.55 Lakhs.

Siddharth ‘si151190’ Mehndiratta championed The ₹3 Lac GTD Friday Superstack for ₹80,400. Bharat ‘Thinkfloyd’Vasan finished runner-up for ₹56,310 in the tourney.

PokerStars

The ₹15 INCOOP- 17 Uppercut 6-Max experienced an overlay of ₹1.56 Lacs after 336 entries. Gaurav ‘3betPanda’ Sood came on top of the field and banked ₹2.88 Lac. Sood has been consistently ruling the virtual felts for a couple of months now. He took down PokerBaazi’s The Ridge last Friday. Nishant ‘Balaark’ Pandey finished second for ₹1.27 Lac in the heads-up battle with Gaurav Sood.

The ₹5 Lac GTD INCOOP-19 8-Max was shipped by ‘Naru96,’ for ₹1.23 Lac.

Spartan Poker

The ₹1 Crore GTD GPS The Millionaire was another signature event on Friday night. Day 1A clocked 429 entries with only 57 players surviving the intense action. Millionaire champion, Ayush ‘HighHopes’ Garg (363,608) was the chip leader at the end of the play. Garg also topped the end of Day 1B chip counts in Adda52’s Full House.

‘TheDarkKnightReturns’ (329,017) and “doubledown” (249,968) finished at the second and third position of top stacks from Day 1A in the GPS The Millionaire.

The ₹40 Lac GTD GPS Grand – The Elite was won by a mystery crusher ‘HatodaTyagi’ for ₹8.46 Lac.

Young Gun Siddharth ‘schemer77’ Karia championed the ₹13 Lac GTD TGIF for ₹2.52 Lac.

‘doubledown,’ shipped the ₹5 Lac GTD GPS #10 Monster Stack for ₹1.10 Lac.
