Friday Flagships Ruled By Kwatra, Ved, Bajaj, Advani, And Sharma

With Friday came back to back flagships that greeted the virtual felts. Be it IOPC, AOPC, or PMVS; every flagship was loaded with nail-biting action.

Here is the story on full action at different flagships on Friday:

Spartan Poker

The highlight tourney at Spartan Poker last night was 45 Lakhs GTD IOPC Event #12 The Elite. The tourney received an enormous response and managed to garner 615 entries crushing the guarantee up to Rs.61.50 lakhs. The final result that went down was a two-way deal between Guneet Kwatra(came 2nd and banked Rs.9.50 lakhs) and ‘RegularPlaya’(won and banked Rs. 9.82 lakhs).

The next tourney that turned a lot of heads was 15 lakhs GTD TGIF which gathered a whopping 1533 entries making the guaranteed prize pool up to Rs.22.99 lakhs. ‘GODSENT’ managed to claim his throne and take along Rs.3.49 lakhs. ‘TheSightseer’ came in close second and took home Rs.3.33 lakhs.

PokerBaazi

PokerBaazi’s highlight tourney was 10 Lakhs GTD PMVS Event #13 The Ridge. It successfully registered 344 entries where the top 49 players were rewarded with min-cash. The final battle went on between Kartik Ved and Devvrat Arya. Ved eventually flipped the tourney in his favour and took home Rs.2.16 lakhs whereas Arya had to be satisfied being a runner-up and taking home Rs.1.51 lakhs.

Adda52

The most awaited tourney on AOPS’s schedule was 50 Lakhs GTD Hold’em High Roller. The tourney required an Rs.27500 buy-in which managed to attract 222 poker enthusiasts crushing the guarantee up to Rs.55.50 Lakhs. Clearing the crowd, ‘Yud1006’ banked Rs.12.11 along with the title. ‘SingleA’ came close second and took along Rs.12 lakhs.

The next tourney on the schedule was 10 Lakhs GTD AOPS NLHE which roped in 547 players making Rs.12.44 lakhs in prize pool guarantee. The final result came out after a deal struck between Vinayak Bajaj(took home Rs.2.37 lakhs) and Sumit Advani(took home Rs. 2.34 lakhs) were both settled on almost equal amounts.

PokerStars India

PokerStars India has been lately facing the trouble to pull-in crowds, thus leaving huge sums in overlays to fill at every tourney. The same was the case last night. At 10 Lakhs GTD Uppercut Magic Edition, despite pulling-in 223 participants, the site still had to fill an overlay of Rs.1.08 lakhs. However, Rajat Sharma(won Rs. 2.01 lakhs) managed to take down PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer Singh Chadha(won Rs. 1.21lakhs) during the final neck to neck competition.

The next tourney that pulled-in 142 entries were the 5 Lakhs GTD Friday Euphoria where the site had to fill-in an overlay of Rs.1.45 lakhs. Guneet Kwatra took down the title by defeating ‘max2172’(won Rs.75065) and won Rs.98956. It was a good day for Kwatra indeed.
