Monday Majors: Harsh Dembla, Pranav Khandalkar & Prateek Singh shine as Champions

After an eventful Sunday, it was time for a day off on virtual poker felts. As always, poker sites witnessed nominal inclination on Monday resulting in significant overlays in almost each event.

Here’s the full scoop –

Adda52

The ₹10 Lac GTD Inception was the signature Monday event on one of the leading poker websites in India. After 290 registrations, the tourney suffered an overlay of ₹72,000. Shekhar ‘Brat_Poker’ Singh, who had shipped the Sunday Punch ₹5 Lakhs GTD, won the title and took home ₹2.56 Lac. Utkarsh ‘sam20542’ Srivastava finished runner-up for ₹1.52 Lac.

The ₹3 Lac GTD Hexagram also suffered an overlay of ₹22,000 after registering 139 entries. The anonymous user ‘Danger3040’ defeated ‘ashu1990’ in the heads-up battle to win the title and took home ₹84,750. ‘ashu1990’ finished second for ₹55,500.

PokerBaazi

₹10 Lac GTD Bout was the signature event on Monday that saw 342 entries and fell short of ₹1.45 Lac. Prateek ‘khotasikka’ Singh shipped the title and took home ₹2.10 Lac while Deepak ‘DEEPAKALLIN’ Sachdeva finished runner up for ₹1.47 Lac.

The ₹2 Lac GTD Grinders#4 Monday MegaStack registered 85 entries and suffered a sizeable overlay of ₹30,000. Himanshu ‘ISquirtBullets’ Dewan won the top prize of ₹60,000, while the site regular ‘Hades’ finished second for ₹42,000.

PokerStars

The ₹6 Lac GTD Battle Royale suffered an overlay of ₹1.70 Lakhs after registering 172 entries. Online regular Harsh ‘kakori kabab’ Dembla claimed the lion’s share and took home ₹1.40 Lac.

Apart from this, Harsh Dembla also final tabled two other tourneys –

  • Adda52’s Hexagram (3rd for ₹39,000)
  • PokerStars India’s The Classic Monday (9th for ₹6,435)

‘yash1805’ shipped the ₹2.50 Lakhs GTD The Classic Monday and took home ₹57,784.

Spartan Poker

The ₹12 Lac GTD ReCharge was the highlight on Monday. The ₹2,200 buy-in tournament suffered an overlay of ₹2.26 Lac after registering 487 entries. Mystery user ‘israp’ championed the field and took home ₹2.33 Lac as first-place prize money while Pranav ‘pranavpoker’ Khandalkar finished runner-up for ₹1.48 Lac.

Rishab ‘rishabjain1983’ Jain shipped The ₹6 Lakhs GTD The Flash for ₹1.04 Lac after defeating ‘yeaces’ (runner-up for ₹85,850) heads-up battle. The tourney experienced an overlay of ₹52,000 after 548 registrations.
