Another amazing day at poker with some big amount winnings on Wednesday. The various events saw many players tacking their way through some good pool prizes. Let’s began with the usual:
The Wednesday event for Spartan poker is always Destiny challenge, and last night the flagship tournament came with a guaranteed prize of INR 40 Lakhs. The event saw huge amount of people registering for the game with total of 868 entries (375 unique, 196 re-wntries and 297 rebuys). The final turnout increases the original amount to 43.40 Lakhs prize pool. Out of all those 375 players, top 70 ranked players were able to earn some money.
However, the final and winning amount was taken by none another than Uttam Kumaer Sinha aka ‘chinunew’, who bagged INR 9.88 Lakhs which is also his single largest score. The runner-up position was snatched by ongoing female pro, Kanchan ‘Bubblegum’ Sharma who won INR 7.42 Lakhs.
Last night was quite extraordinary as not just one but two women made it to top places. Mahima ‘mambojojo’ Walia Das was another smart woman who got 4th position in the event and took INR 2.60 Lakh.
The Pride, which is the flagship tournament of PokerBaazi declared the last night guaranteed prize as INR 15 Lakhs GTD which attracted a total of 538 entries including 289 unique and 249 re-entries. Walking away with the largest stack of money was Ritwik Khanna aka ‘Ritwikkhanna’ who made his personal-best INR 3.14 as the prize pool. Following was the runner-up Banmanlang ‘bmI2012’ Lyndem who bagged INR 2.20 Lakhs.
The AOPS Baga which is also the flagship tournament of Adda52, saw its winner in the form of Sandeep ‘effuno’ Varma who won INR 4.77 Lakhs after defeating his counterpart ‘jacks24’ in head-up who also got INR 2.80 as the 2nd prize. The event logged in 950 players to register in the game which include 491 unique, and 459 re-entries.
The Wednesday featured event of PokerStars India, the INCOOP Night on Stars which guaranteed INR 20 Lakhs as GTD. The event recorded a total entries of 345 players (181 unique and 164 re-entries. The winner of the tournament ‘azmadh’ who won INR 3.71 as the winning amount.
