WSOP Online 2020: ‘PokeThese’ Proudly Claimed His Throne

The second tourney on the schedule at WSOP was Event #2 $1000 No-Limit Hold’em 8-Handed Deepstack. The event successfully roped in 919 entries generating the guaranteed prize money of $873050. ‘PokeThese’ emerged as the winner taking the title, gold bracelet, and prize of $168585.95 to his credit. He defeated ‘Kovid19’ in an intense heads-up by holding over 80% of the chips in play. ‘Kovid19’ had to finally settle at the second spot and with $104242.17 to his credit.

GGPoker Ambassador Daniel Negreanu had earlier bet $1 Million that he would claim the 7th WSOP bracelet in 2020. Unfortunately, he fell short and got eliminated earlier. He was placed at 18th spot and won $5849.43.

Other noteworthy mentions are Michael Gagliano (took 13th spot for $7,333.62), Matthew Mendez (came 14th and won$7,333.62), Jared Jaffee (came 56th for $2,444.54), Mike Delvecchio (took the 79th spot for $2,008.01), Ryan Laplante (took 106th place for 1,571.49), Katie Lindsay (came 122nd and took home $1,571.49) and David Prociak (came 128th and banked $1,484.18).
