Friday witnessed an enormous response from poker enthusiasts. Here’s a quick recap of all the action that unfolded Friday night-
It was Day 1B of the ongoing ₹1 Crore GTD Full House. The ₹5,500 buy-in witnessed 255 registries out of which only 29 players made the cut for Day 2. Avinash ‘aksinha97’ Kumar (266,881), MTT regs Sreekanth ‘n0thing’ Narayan (221,590), and Bharat ‘rungooserun’ Vasan (211,750) ended as the top three stack holders of the day.
The ₹7,500 buy-in ₹25 Lac GTD The Ballers suffered an overlay of ₹81,950 after 353 entries. MTT pro Deepak ‘bothras’ Bothra bagged the lion’s share worth ₹6.25 Lac. ‘foldkardunga’ finished second for ₹3.78 Lac.
‘AmliDiPeenak’ won The ₹4 Lakhs GTD Moonlight for ₹87,739 after beating ‘myeshu’ in the heads-up battle. ‘myeshu’ took home ₹82,435 for the second place finish.
The ₹10 Lac GTD The Ridge was the highlight of the Friday. The ₹3,300 buy-in tourney experienced a shortfall of ₹1.90 after 270 registrations. Jasven ‘JasvenSaigal’ Saigal shipped the title and took home ₹2.21 Lac. ‘hungryanimal’ finished second for ₹1.55 Lac.
₹10 Lac GTD Uppercut MAGIC Edition suffered an overlay of ₹24,000 after 244 entrants. Poker pro Kunal ‘iAlwaysHaveIt’ Patni came on top of the field and scooped ₹1.77 Lac. MTT crusher Anant ‘Dr4gonW4rrior’ Purohit ended up at second place for ₹1.02 Lac while Srihari Bang finished third for ₹69,936.
The ₹5 Lac Friday Euphoria witnessed 170 entries and suffered an overlay of ₹75,000. ‘yash1805’ won the title and scooped ₹73,383 after a three-way deal with ‘pranay1245’ (runner up for ₹70,129) and ‘shanghai2710’ (3rd for ₹75,849).
It was Day1 of The ₹50 Lac GTD FMS Main Event. The ₹11,000 buy-in event saw 126 registrants out of which only 21 players survived the Day 1A of play. MTT crusher Anuj ‘tittooTauji’ Yadav (220,551) rounded up as the chip leader. ‘McFly’ (220,297) and Vikranth ‘borntrouble’ Varma (213,083) finished at second and third spot.
The ₹25 Lac GTD FMS #9 Highroller was another marquee event on Friday. The ₹22,000 buy-in experienced a sizeable overlay of ₹2.40 Lac after 113 entries. Former SSS The Millionaire X5 champion Abhishek ‘PoeticInjustice’ Gubba shipped the title for ₹6.38 Lac. Cash game pro Akanksha ‘HashBrownie’ Singh scooped ₹4.40 Lac for her runner-up finish.
Gubba made another FT yesterday after finishing seventh in Adda52’s The Ballers for ₹75,000.
‘Legendback’ shipped The ₹12 Lac GTD TGIF for ₹2.31 Lac after beating Goonjan ‘gmtesting’ Mall in the heads up. The ₹1,650 buy-in tourney suffered an overlay of ₹27,000 after registering 782 entries. Mall finished second for ₹1.45 Lac.
