After days of slow action, virtual felts witnessed some inclination from poker enthusiasts on Thursday night. Here’s the full scoop –
It was Day 1 of the ₹1 Crore GTD Full House yesterday. The ₹5,500 buy-in tourney saw a total of 251 participants out of which only 26 survived at the end. ‘‘Abhilasha212’ (323412) was the chip leader on Day1 while Sahil ‘Bhaijiii’ Agarwal (315,523) and Avadh ‘cateyes’ Shah (272,230) grabbed the second and third spot respectively.
The ₹30 Lac GTD Godfather was the highlight tourney of the day. The ₹5,500 buy-in tourney fell short of ₹30,000 of the guaranteed prize after registering 594 entries. Arsh ‘BigggTymeR’ Grover and PokerGuru Ambassador Rohit ‘rohit22m’ Mishra made the head ups deal which resulted in Grover winning the title and taking home a big chunk of amount ₹5.82 Lac. Mishra took home ₹5.33 Lac for the runner-up finish.
Shagun Jain championed PokerBaazi’s The Game Changer 2.0 for ₹4.71 Lac and added The Summit title to his list of accomplishments. Jain finished runner up in the ₹20 Lac GTD The Summit last month. ‘md20’ finished runner-up in the event for ₹3.30 Lac.
The ₹5 Lac GTD Grinders #19 Thursday Monster was won by Sanish ‘Sanish21’ Chhabra for ₹1.28 Lac.
The ₹15 Lac GTD Highroller was one of the two marquee events on the site. The ₹7,700 buy-in tourney experienced an overlay of ₹1.77 Lac after registering 189 entries. A mystery crusher, ‘Grindprix,’ won the title and scooped ₹2.98 Lac after beating ‘rauflala’ who finished at second place for ₹2.22 Lac. The Godfather champion, Arsh ‘BiggggTymeR’ Grover finished fourth for ₹1.23 Lac.
‘drpokerabc,’ came on top of the field after a heads up deal with Vishal ‘DeadGrinder1’ Madan in The ₹5 Lakhs GTD Battle Royale. ‘drpokerabc,’ won ₹1.08 Lac while Vishal Madan took home ₹66,245. Madan also managed final table finishes in Adda52’s two events –
The ₹22 Lac GTD Ultron was the signature event on the site. The tourney managed a prize pool worth ₹22.52 Lac after registering 563 entries. Anonymous user ‘ElegantlyWasted’ came on top of the field and scooped ₹4.36 Lac. Bharat ‘dorasingh’ Vasan finished runner-up for ₹2.76 Lac while Vishal ‘BlueWhale222’ Madan finished third for ₹2 Lac in the event.
Day 1C of the ₹10 Lac GTD Velocity witnessed 284 runners. Only 32 players managed to reach Day 2. ‘iNi010’ (157,089), ‘Donndon’ (152,224), and ‘pankajc’ (118,347) managed the top stacks respectively. With one starting flight still left to play out, 91 players have advanced to Day 2 so far.
The ₹4 Lakhs GTD FMS #4 was the opening event of the Freezeout Master Series (FMS). Rishab ‘rishabjain1983’ Jain won the first prize and took home ₹1 Lac cash prize. Nirmal ‘varonir’ Sankhla came second and managed to scoop ₹68,000. Jain also finished seventh in the Ultron for ₹73,415.
