Wednesday Updates: A day of massive overlays for most of the flagship tourneys

Here’s the full scoop of the action that unfolded on Wednesday –

With ₹2,500 buy-in, The ₹15 Lac GTD Maverick was the flagship tourney on Wednesday that registered 658 entries. Chirag ‘mahikk’ Bhardwaj came on top of the field and took home ₹3.30 Lac in prize money. Nishant ‘stockfull’ Pandey was the runner-up with ₹2.63 Lac.

The ₹10 Lac GTD Monster Stack experienced an overlay worth ₹2.40 Lac after 152 entries. Devrat ‘vickypune’ Singh won the title for ₹2.70 Lac. ‘Reg_Slayer’ came second for ₹1.70 Lac.

PokerBaazi

₹10 Lac GTD The Pride was the highlight of the day on Baazi. The tourney suffered an overlay of ₹2.08 Lac after registering 264 entries. PokerGuru Ambassador Rohit ‘rohit22rm’ Mishra won the tourney after beating Abhishek ‘ketchup’ Kumar in the heads-up battle. Mishra took home ₹2.21 Lac for the first place finish while Kumar finished runner-up for ₹1.55 Lac.

Nikil ‘aatishbaaz’ Ramesh won The ₹3 Lakhs GTD Grinders#14 Wednesday SuperStack for a personal-best ₹82,920. Millind ‘ulimpiraise’ Satam came second for ₹58,060.

The ₹7 Lac GTD Night suffered an overlay of ₹1.03 Lac after registering 239 entries. Aman ‘KarmaPoker77’ Parakh won the tourney and scooped ₹1.19 Lac after a heads-up deal with Bharat ‘MojoJojo2193’ Vasan who finished second for ₹1.16 Lac.

The ₹5 Lac GTD Big Bubble Rush fell short of ₹65,000 of the guaranteed prize pool. Abhijeet ‘sexylady7766’ Kumar came on top of the field and scooped ₹90,847 (₹46,530 in prize money and ₹43,067 in bounties). ‘Poker_Basilisk’ came second for ₹83,368 (₹49,052 in prize money and ₹34,316 in bounties).

Spartan Poker

The ₹30 Lac GTD Destiny was the highlight tourney of the day. The ₹5,500 buy-in tourney suffered an overlay of ₹2.05 Lac with 559 entries. PokerGuru ambassador Gokul ‘Super Kings’ Raj won the title for ₹7.8 Lac. A mystery user ‘crockroax021’ came second for ₹4.8 Lac.

The ₹4 Lakhs GTD Mega Freeze experienced an overlay of ₹43,000 after registering 119 entries. Anonymous player ‘jethalaal’ won the title and took home ₹1.01 Lac in prize money after beating the former Millionaire champion Anujkumar ‘aatmaan108’ Kodam in the heads-up battle. Kodam won ₹68,000 and also scooped ₹1.98 Lac for his fourth-place finish in the Destiny.
