Monday Majors: Bhardwaj, Singhvi, Varma, And Darade Lead The Poker Scoreboards

Last night the most action was localized at Spartan Poker’s IOPC. With back to back tourneys with high prizes, Spartan Poker had a fruitful evening. Other poker giants did well with some high reward tourneys too.

Here is full action on what went down behind the digital doors of poker-

Spartan Poker

Spartan Poker had a fruitful day yesterday. Its star tourney last night was the 20 Lakhs GTD IOPC ReCharge which roped in 1195 poker enthusiasts taking the guarantee all the up to Rs.23.90 lakhs. Chirag Bhardwaj managed to outrun others and claim the title along with Rs.3.61 lakhs after entering a three-way deal with ‘Unpredictable1’(came 2nd and banked Rs.2.91 lakhs) and ‘NutzHunteR’(came 3rd and took home Rs.2.68 lakhs)

Another tourney on the schedule that captured most eyeballs and 654 participants was the IOPC Destiny with 10 lakhs GTD. The tourney comfortably crossed its advertised guarantee. The tourney ended with Rs.13.08 lakh being distributed among its top 60 players and Siddhart Singhvi (took home Rs.2.78 lakhs) emerging as the ultimate winner by defeating Vikrant Varma (took home Rs.2.71 lakhs).

Last night the site comfortably went back to its regular MTT schedule. The star tourney on the list was 10 lakh GTD Inception. The tourney booked 366 participants with Rs.3500 buy-ins making the guaranteed prize pool of Rs.11.71 lakhs. Mandar Darade entered a two-way deal with ‘2abhisingh’ where Darade took the title along with Rs.2.62 lakhs to his credit and the latter took home Rs.2.07 lakhs.

PokerBaazi

The highlight tourney on Monday at PokerBaazi was the Rs 10 Lakhs GTD The Bout. Even though the tourney registered 362 participants chipping in Rs.2750 buy-ins, it still faced an overlay of Rs.95000 with filling. ‘TanayParekh’ defeated Ashish Munot in an intense heads-up battle where the former took home Rs. 2.10 lakhs and the latter added Rs.1.47 lakhs to his bankroll.

The Indian Micro Poker Series (IMPS) also made its way on the PokerBaazi yesterday. This 14 days long series is advertised to reward Rs.1.5 crores in the guarantee.

PokerStars India

Currently, the Micro Million series has become the highlight event on PokerStars India. And last night the highlight tourney was the 10 Lakhs GTD Micro Millions 13 Battle Royale. The tourney however suffered a massive overlay of Rs.1.97 lakhs yesterday.

After running past 321 participants, ‘Aggrolegend’ won the title and a winner’s paycheck of Rs.2.21 lakhs. ‘Nitin&AMIT9999’ came in a close second and had to be satisfied with Rs.1.14 lakhs to his credit.
