Romit Advani has won PokerBaazi Premier League (PPL). Advani had to get the better of Dhaval Mudgal, Kartik Ved and Siddharth Karia to get hands-on the trophy and cash prize of INR 19.25 Lakhs.
PPL #456 the MoneyMaker 1 Crore GTD started on September 29. The event attracted 1,132 entries which include 699 unique and 433 re-entries) in total, and generated a prize pool of 1.13 crores.
Karia entered the final table as a chip leader, while Advani had one of the shorter stacks. Advani dismissed Dhaval Mudgal straight out on ninth pace. further, He beat Shawn Jose who finished as a runner-up.
After winning the tournament Romit Advani stated in an interview “I feel relieved and elated. The title means a lot as I had several FT’s and deep runs but couldn’t convert it. I have been putting a lot of effort, study, and volume into my game, and the monkey is finally off my back. I am thrilled.”
