Spartan poker kicked off Mega Stack INR 17 Lakhs GTD on Tuesday at 8 PM where to Indian poker players showcased their talents. Many newcomers also tried their luck to attract big in this tournament. The event registered 537 entries with buy-in INR 3,300. The prize pool will be shared among the top 47 places where the minimum paycheck is INR 9690.
Thirtha Patil aka ‘Taxed’ emerged victorious winning a sum of the prize money. After 7 hours of the brain-storming sessions, the event came to an end. With 6 players in the final, Patil was leading with 2.6 million chips. Kanishka Samant aka ‘Wildflower’ followed him with 2.3 million chips. However, ‘Drifter2’ put his stack of 554 chips but Patil got lucky for the night. The other players who came close to the winning amount are Kanishka Samant who took the second spot, Varun Gulati aka ‘vg007’ (3rd), Rachit Parihar aka ‘d9L’ (4th) rounded off the top 4 finishers.
