Tuesday Tourney Updates: PokerGuru Ambassadors dominated the last night tourneys

Unlike Monday, Tuesday witnessed some response from poker enthusiasts. However, the overlay woes continued for some of the major tourneys. Here is a glance at what went down in the virtual felts last night –

Spartan Poker

The ₹20 Lakhs GTD Mega Stack was the signature event on Spartan Poker. The tourney registered 633 entries and suffered an overlay of Rs 1.01 Lakhs. Mystery user ‘xxbajxx1’ won the title and tok away ₹2.60 Lakhs after a three-way deal with ‘veselka’ who finished runner-up for ₹2.59 Lakhs and and Sanchit ‘tullupump’ Adukia who ended 3rd for ₹2.34 Lakhs.

The ₹7.5 Lakhs GTD Race was another highlight on Tuesday. Anirudh ‘flash’ Reddy won the title and scooped ₹1.50 Lakhs top prize money after defeating PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘Spewushhhiiii’ Ahuja. Ahuja finished runner-up and took home ₹99,975.

PokerBaazi

The ₹50 Lakhs GTD PPL#29 Endeavour was the main highlight on Day 5 of the PokerBaazi Premier League (PPL). The tourney managed a total of 1,338 registries across four starting flights –and still suffered an overlay of ₹3.17 Lakhs.

PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh ‘boomtlt23’ Pal Singh won the title and took home Rs 8.25 Lakhs after beating the former IOPC Main Event champion Anurag ’13anurag’ Srivastava in the heads-up battle.

Adda52

The ₹2.5 Crores GTD AOPS Main Event was the marquee event on Tuesday. The ₹11,000 buy-in tourney played out the first of nine starting flights yesterday. ‘jimmyadams’ (450,253) ended with the most massive stack while ‘mv141995’ (329,030) and Gagandeep ‘gaganhyd’ Singh (309,525) grabbed the next positions.

The ₹20 Lakhs GTD Cowboys was another highlight on Adda52. The tourney registered 470 entries and suffered an overlay of ₹1.2 Lakhs. PokerGuru Ambassador Devvrat ‘glitch_d’ Arya scooped the title to win ₹4.9 Lakhs after firing three bullets.

PokerStars India

After days of overlay woes, PokerStars finally managed to break the jinx with The ₹7 Lakhs GTD Sixth Sense. The tourney registered 242 entries and cross its GTD by ₹26,000. PokerGuru Ambassador Vivek ‘Mystic Peaks’ Singh took down the title for ₹1.19 Lakhs after a head-ups deal with Game Changer 1.0 champion Prashanth ‘nemesis9961’ Sekar. Sekar took home ₹1.09 Lakhs.
